Happy Holidays to everyone! Today was filled with the great tidings of a wonderful season of generosity and humanity here in Wilkes-Barre, where I actually had people in the right-hand lanes of traffic stop to allow me to pull left onto a busy four-lane highway near the mall. I reciprocated the gesture later at Barnes & Noble by holding the door for about a dozen people, most of whom said "Thank You" or "Merry Christmas." Probably the one thing that "bummed" me out though was getting my report card today when I got home---A 3.49 GPA for the semester, which means I missed the Dean's List by just one-hundredth of a point! Nevertheless, may we all find something to feel inspired about and thankful for during this blessed time of year. For me, I received the best gift of all---My ex-boyfriend and I are getting back together after over two years apart, which signals the end to my monotonous "single life." I can't wait to see the look on his face when he gets all of his gifts that he specifically told me NOT to buy for him! Merry Christmahanukkwanzaakah everyone!
