That's definitely not a Jersey girl. I've seen a lot girls in Vermont that look like that.

My wife likes whiskey and she doesn't sound anything like that. (She's from PA)
I guess that I dodged a bullet because I was born in the anthracite coal region. Heyna?

My "Jersey Girl" looked like an angel -- blonde and beautiful.

She was the only person I've known who scored perfect on her SAT. (She told me it wasn't that unusual.)

She had a smile that would melt hearts.

When she died, the local daily newspaper editor (now popular author) wrote a lengthly editorial about her, as she'd worked part-time for him and had written a guest editorial or two.

In return the competing weekly newspaper devoted 3 or 4 full pages of her "previously unpublished writings" that she'd submitted. (We were planning a little trip to begin the day she unexpectedly died at 51, so she'd submitted a few of her weekly columns ahead of time.)

In case it's not apparent, I think very highly of Jersey Girls. A couple of them are my late wife's granddaughters, and one was named after her!

Who is this?

Sorry I am too young to remember her so I am not too acquainted with Jersey pop culture.

Laura San Giacomo.

She played Julia Roberts' hooker buddy 'Kit De Luca' in Pretty Woman.

Bonus Jersey pop culture trivia:

Pretty Woman also starred Jason Alexander, aka 'George Costanza' in Seinfeld. Jason Alexander is a Jersey Boy. He went to Livingston High School. And get this...his Pretty Woman costar Laura San Giacomo's aunt worked at Livingston High School. Talk about a small world.

Bonus bonus trivia: Jason Alexander went to LHS at the same time as Chris Christie. He would have been an upperclassman when Christie was a wee little Springsteen-loving frosh. Blows my mind.

Well I think she looks half Californian half New Jerseyan. Her face is so sharp, that she is better looking than a typical Jersey girl. So she has somewhat Californian looks.
