Chiming into say that we are from NJ currently living in London. I do not know if there are any British schools, I have never heard of any, however, if they attend US public schools they will certainly fall behind when they return.
Another option would be to consider the Montessori school in short hills or another private school.

My package would average somewhere around 300-400k usd and the company will cover private schooling (no limit), so its really about finding the best school tbh

My cousin who lives in the towns mentioned in Morris county had a family she became friends with from London, end up sending their British kids at a private school. PM me if you want details....

Working there, you are within a manageable commute to Millburn Twp, which has the #2 school district in the state. Certainly investigate that option.
Mendham, Chester and Long Valley have International Baccalaureate programs in High School apart from AP. There is a well regarded private school either in Mendham or Far Hills which all the well offs send their kids to.. even though the public school is excellent in Mendham.
