Wife's company "offered" to hire her section (marketing) back to work from home part-time. Their direct boss is trying to explain to the owner that this is pretty much an F-U to them as everyone else in the company would be home collecting unemployment while they'd be stuck working from home for only half-pay. Does the current situation allow any room to refuse this "offer"?
Anyone who is also receiving the $600 from CARES Act
I got it on the 13th, waiting to see if I get another on the 20th. It comes separate from UI. Supposed to be retroactive to March 29 but doesn't seem to be the case.
what if I file another claim? Is that even possible? Sucks feeling this hopeless about unemployment.
Yeah, sucks big time. My coworker got hers approved three days ago, but mine is still pending. I don't know what else can be done, though. You can't get a call to go through, and as far as I know you can't reapply. Even if you could, it would just bump you to the back of the line again, and I read the US lost another 5.2 million jobs last week.
