We all want our life back to normal. The key point is to control the outbreak.
Masks can be reused if the mask is sterilized properly. There is no need to put everyone in danger. Fabric Masks and regular masks all work better than nothing.
CDC should make the announcement. So non-masked people will wear the mask and not spread the virus all over the place.
Some idiots made some dumb moves in the past, it's time to make the corrections to fight the pandemic. Maybe they still not care about our normal people's life, the only thing they care about is the responsibility and they kick their balls around to blame other people.
A big part of the problem is that no one is making the distinction between types of mask. The CDC should absolutely be encouraging the general public to wear a surgical or home made mask, and make it clear that while those won't stop all of the virus, it's better than nothing.
Instead, they actually said don't wear masks, without making it clear they meant save the N 95s. Now too many think they shouldn't wear anything.
I went for a beer run earlier today and drove down Bergenline Avenue. There was probably less than half the foot traffic from your typical weekday afternoon. I would estimate about 50% were wearing some type of mask. I was surprised it was that many
I'm glad. More and more people wear masks and pay attention on the virus. Which means the outbreak will be ended soon. Even though I expect everyone wears something. Physical distancing is still important though .
So if you're wearing a paper mask what do you do with it when you get home? You have to somehow disinfect it before you wear it again. If you're using something like a bandana then that can easily be tossed in the wash.
