China should have closed it's borders and stopped any travel into or out of their country when they saw what was materializing.

Hannah as you said "you", so in what way do you think that I may not take it seriously enough?

Then the EMTs left, and I sat in the kitchen with the cops for an hour until they could get a release from the doctor and then the funeral director came over. We kept our distance, but ALL of these people are exposed to a lot of other people every day.

Plus my brother's drunkass girlfriend works at Acme at the deli counter and she had been coming to my mother's house until I yelled at my brother and told him to keep her away from our mother.

Pretty sure my mother didn't have the virus, because she had been checked out for temperature and cough/how she felt on Friday morning when she went to dialysis. There was no reason to think she did. She just went to sleep and didn't wake up.

But what about the others? The cops and the EMTs didn't have masks on, and neither did the funeral home people. That's why I wore a mask to the store today--in case I am carting anything around. I don't want to be Typhoid Mightyqueen.

Woah!

I'm so so very sorry!

My sincere condolences!

"CV is not a death sentence though it's to be taken "not to death/scared/frantic/hyped-up seriously" IMO."

I thought you did.

I apologize Hannah, just a misunderstanding on my part.
Thanks

BTW I do wear this home made mask from an old t-shirt (doubled) that I tie behind my head.

This is also nothing like flu. Doctors and nurses didn't die from treating flu patients. 42 year old assistant principals with no pre-existing conditions don't go from feeling a slight fever to dying on a vent a week later from flu. 4 members of one family that had dinner together don't all die from flu a week later.

If you look at NJ numbers of Covid-19, most of them are under 60, and many much younger. Here are stats from my area just from a couple of days:

he 152nd case is a 76-year-old male from Monroe Township.
The 153rd case is a 71-year-old male from Monroe Township.
The 156th case is a 30-year-old male from Monroe Township.
The 158th case is a 25-year-old female from Monroe Township.
The 163rd case is a 59-year-old female from Monroe Township.
The 166th case is a 60-year-old female from Monroe Township.
