I see near 100% mask wearing here in Hudson/Bergen counties.
Betcha there won't be a second wave in NJ, unless it's brought in from out-of-state.
And even then, our contact tracing will squelch it.

lol, yeah Hudson county?? Sure, they wear masks in Hudson county, just not over their nose or mouth. On the neck or forehead is quite popular. Especially when you park in a fire zone and have to grab breakfast before heading out to one of our many beautiful parks.

I visited southern Bergen County a few months ago and from what I saw that day maybe approx. 20% were wearing masks outdoors without people around even while jogging.

Watch out, the "political police" here (not me) might get mad at you.

Really? How does that work exactly? My boss and his wife have just arrived from Germany for a 10 day business trip. I don't know how they got a waiver, but I doubt they'll be quarantining. So as long as they're social distancing and wearing masks, everything is fine? Okay.

Yes, it will be fine. Unless you want to do a 180 and say masks and distancing don’t work to stop the spread. And if they don’t work, then let’s stop with all this nonsense and get back to living a normal life.

I I think it’s silly. Contact tracing will reveal the source in any case.

Yes, given sufficient numbers of contact tracers. While NJ has hired a much larger number of contact tracers than most of the Red States, the fact remains that we still need more contact tracers.

As of yesterday, NJ had 85% of the contact tracers that we need. By contrast, Florida has 15%, Texas has 17%, and Alabama has 6% of the number of contact tracers that they need.

Worse is NJ reported only about 50% of those contacted are cooperating.
