I live on a court.
Today there is a group of 12+ children from various households playing together.
The fathers are chatting without face coverings or any social distancing.
I have to assume that your neighbors still think that this is "a hoax".
How else could one explain that type of irresponsible behavior?

The weather. Such a great day out. I took a drive to go look at a house. Lots of cars on the road. You can only contain people indoors for so long. But I agree, we should all be taking the proper precautions while outdoors.
The second wave will be in several weeks not months unless this virus indeed abates in the summer months.

That makes me mad too. I’ve had to be cop with several neighbors, who want to come hang with my honey whenever he’s outside doing something (which is every nice day). One in particular does not Social distance, he has bonfire parties at least once a week with a dozen or so people. I don’t want him anywhere near us. Another has a 20 or so son who is also not social distancing.

It's happening everywhere. Yesterday there was a group of about 10-15 people hanging out on my neighbor's front lawn for a birthday party. I think a few had masks but I didn't really look too hard. Today I drove past Eagle Rock and there were so many cars people were parking on the grass. I don't blame them though. By next weekend temperatures are expected to fall below freezing again in some parts of the state. Nice weather does not last long in NJ.
I don't think we've finished the first one, but Fauci says the 2nd one will be in the Fall, so maybe they can get some much deserved down time before then.
I'm cautiously optimistic that the medical community will have learned alot by then, that there will be successful treatments (perhaps even vaccines), and that any subsequent waves won't be as intense, and shorter in duration.
Yes, proof that infections have been widespread are coming in from all over the world.
Which is actually good news, since it means more people have had mild or no symptoms, and that we're further along on the path to herd immunity. Some people will scoff at this though.

Kids playing outside? Adults TALKING TO EACH OTHER?! Don't they know they know there's a flu going around?! Call 911!
I was at a county park yesterday. The rule is that only 50% of the parking lot is permitted to be full, so they had 50% of the spots blocked off with cones and yellow tape. Not sure why the state parks wouldn't do the same.
I was the fourth car in, at 7:05. I spoke later to a neighbor who said her friend went to the same park at 10 and was the last car allowed in until someone else left.
That's why I went early, but even in normal times I go early or late anyway because I'd rather be there when it's quieter and without mobs of kids. Nothing against kids, but they are noisy.

Isn't that a good question!
It's not like they don't have rubber traffic cones at their disposal, because they were using cones to close-off the parking lots for several weeks. Hopefully it was only the Rangers who are stationed at the Six Mile Run and D&R Canal State Parks who chose to ignore the Governor's directive regarding 50% capacity.
