Hi. I applied for NJ full unemployment week of 03/29/2020. I received my determination of benefits a couple of days ago. My WBR is $384.00. The breakdown of my 2 jobs is as follows:
Employer #1 Total base year wages $24,348 Total base weeks 39
Q1=$6,484 base weeks 12
Q2=$9,518 base weeks 13
Q3= $2,946 base weeks 6
Q4=5$036 base weeks 8
Employer #2 Total base year wages $8,989 Total base weeks 34
Q1= $1219 base weeks 4
Q2= $3,000 base weeks 12
Q3= $1,500 base weeks 6
Q4= 3270 base weeks 12
Grand Totals: Base weeks 73 Base year wages $33,338
According to my understanding, the 60% weekly benefit calculation should be $532.
Employer #1 24348/39=624x60%=374 and Employer #2 $158. 8989/34x60%=158. Together my Weekly Benefit rate should be $532 ($374=$158). It seems they divided my total wages by full year of 52 weeks, hence $33,338/52x60%=$384. Why are they doing this? The wages for both jobs are for the SAME base weeks! Can I appeal? Are two jobs calculated different than one?

I too failed to understand. I did my wife calculations and it should be around 300, but only approved for 233 and only 21 weeks vs 26. Tried calling but never able to get a hold of anyone
