The recreation portion of the official summit nj website is not working. We're moving to Summit in early May and I need to get my child enrolled in some activities to make the transition a little easier on her. I've tried googling around to no avail -- anyone have experience with this?
Thanks

The Summit Y has good summer programs, as does The Connection depending on your child's age. Check out their websites for more info. Papermill playhouse offers acting, singing, musical theater classes but maybe not over the summer. The New Jersey Center for the Arts in Summit is a good choice for art camps if that's her thing. UK Elite has decent soccer programs but I'm not sure of all the locations. Kent Place School (kentplace.org) has great summer day camps and a tennis camp. I would also try calling the rec center directly as they are typically helpful.

check local theatres, a lot of them will have summer showings of kids movies for free. Our local Clearview Cinemas does it.

Super Kids has a great summer camp program with trips every day. You can see their themes for activities on Rainbow Academy – A Family of Child Care Centers
