There's a couple of things that Newark can do but it will cost too much money and not enough initiative:
Demolish all abandoned buildings
Start producing industrial hemp in brownfields
Expand Newark City Subway all over the city, forget about expanding the PATH
Fix the water
Bring technology to the public schools to get kids engaged

The only real solution is is a culture change in the black community. Children grow up fatherless, nobody is present to instill values and morals such as the family and church. Children wind up on the streets and bad things happen, it a perpetual cycle.

its an unfortuntate elephant in the room that people are afraid to talk about, so the discussion always deviates to racism this and that and excuse this and that. The black women and the black know that there mating choices and behaviors are destructive to our community. We are already living under a cloud of overt and covert prejudice. So its really a bilateral discussion
Really Newark needs a multiprunge approach of change withing the culture, the politics, and its infrastructure...to be a world class city it could be
