Hello,

Anyone can recommend Harmon Cove Towers in Secaucus? Any flooding issues in the building? HOA? Quality of life?

Thanks!

I've never read anything good about that tower. They had the fire where the alarms didn't go off. You constantly read about flooding which means you have to move your car and the ground floors smell like water. And there have been several news articles about the air conditioning not working correctly in the Summer. Most of the positive reviews I've read seem to be fake or just from owners trying to keep the value up. Not worth the outrageous HOA fee. It really seems like it's a luxury slum run by terrible management.

That place or rather its immediate surroundings is very depressing.

Yah I wouldn’t buy there, building is old, not well maintained - tons issues over the years. Many listings for sale always and little demand. Very high HOA fees. And it’s next to a swamp basically with nothing around walkable. Need to drive everywhere. The whole idea of living in a high rise is you can walk around the neighborhood nearby, otherwise just buy a house in the suburbs.

Look in journal square in jersey city, Hoboken, edgewater, fort lee etc.. all much better areas with similar priced units
