basic social order sounds nice and all but we can have that while eliminating a lot of laws and regulations. a lot. but you think politicians are like infallible gods so you will support any law they pass and say it is needed for civilization.

Basic road safety laws don't amount to big government. And I generally loathe most professional politicians. So much for that argument.

getting involved in every minute detail of our lives is exactly what big government is. you may think that you loathe politicians but you want them to tell you every little thing you can or cant do. so dont kid yourself.

Yeah you know what strangers think. Basic road safety isn't "every minute detail" of your life. It ensures reckless clowns don't endanger others. I'm all for you doing whatever you please, in your living room. When take 3+ tons of steel powered by a motor on to a public street, things change. You don't have an inherent unalienable right to do that on taxpayer funded roadways.

you are just labeling every automotive regulation/law under one big umbrella of "basic road safety" as if they are all equal. even if one did support the existence of many of them, that doesnt mean that they have to support all of them. but not bostongymjunkie, if the politicians have passed it, he will agree with it and support it to others since politicians only care about our safety and are always right.

What don't you understand about headlights? I referenced headlights, not every regulation.

but every post you talk about basic road safety which indicates that you may be fine with everything that can fit in that label. but ok, you arent. however, you manufactured some weird thing about wave length of green headlights so it seems like you will manipulate your beliefs to accept anything the government does.

im not sure ive ever seen green headlights, i think probably a couple of times. its not worth using force to stop people from doing that no matter what. there isnt a law on the books that cops arent willing to kill you over.

And anarchists or sovereign state proponents aren't worthy of having any kind of rational discussion regarding public governance. Really sharp of you to live in a state that has arguably the biggest control-freak of a Governor. Good luck with that.
