Forwarded to me by a friend, not sure how current this info is --

This bill was introduced yesterday; draft was released five minutes ago (literally) and it is being heard in committee tomorrow afternoon.

It would allow people to pay for expedited inspections -- no more than two business days. They could go through a municipality (if we pursued licensure through a program, that would be set up by DCA), or third parties that want to get into the inspection game could get licensed and take on inspections.

I feel like we should be able to examine pro's and con's, and yet this is moving at lightning speed. Do your mayor or administrator/clerks' groups have anything to say on this bill?

That didn't work out so well in one county in FL. https://www.wfla.com/8-on-your-side/...anatee-county/
