Hi,

Thinking of using escooter to get to short hill station. Wondering if its safe to lock it to bike rack? Has anybody done it?
Thanks

I wouldn't do it. It's going to be there all day?

Why would you do that when I see people always take their escooters with them. I wouldn't leave anything behind these days as so little people take the trains and property theft is on the rise.

With people moving to towns closer to train stations where parking are scarce or not available at all, these kind of issues are going to be more and more. Summit has something like this, where commuters can register for a uber pool, because the township cant build additional parking lots. And all these city dwellers, assuming that it would be as walkable as Brooklyn/Jersey City, don't understand the dangers of walking early morning or taking bike/escooter when the visibility is not that great with no dedicated bike path or walking path in most suburbs. This week only one mother and her child was hit by a car while she was crossing the main street in Chatham (https://patch.com/new-jersey/chatham...-investigation). Luckily, it was just a minor injury. Its lot safer to drive and park in a park and ride or parking lot. But I guess, people would flock over those towns with no parking lot available in train stations.
