How are the day care centers doing? Are parents sending kids back to them? Are they busy or are more going out of business? Not sure how they are staying open, most look empty.

I don’t know any by me that have gone out of business. Even the WFH people need day care

I thought it was just happening more in New York. But then seeing some in jersey and they look empty or closed. Not too familiar with Hudson county. Little further out from there.

Our son was premature, so we were ultra cautious about COVID, but he's reached an age (15 months) where we're feeling better about daycare, and we haven't been able to find anywhere with availability (we're in Morris county)

Our sons daycare closed in March 2020 but reopened in June 2020. We sent him back the moment it opened, he’s been healthy the entire time. They do a daily temperature scan, all teachers must wear masks and kids over 4 as well.

Maybe from all the ones that closed or haven’t opened, the ones open are benefiting. Just saw another this one in Essex county, the spot is for lease/sale. Some moms I spoke to are seeking out nanny’s more. We’ll starting to look into nanny’s as well.

Same exact story for our Day Care except kids are not required to wear masks. No Covid cases were reported.

We are grateful that they are around so that our 4 year old can go there and not drive us crazy at home.
