Just opened it up and disagree with alot of the list. Princeton as the best place to live? If I did a ranking it would be down in the 30s or 40s. This list was obviously just mashed together with some type of data and not much thought behind it.

Different strokes for different folks....which is of course why lists like these only exist as click bait. School rankings seem out of whack too. I'm resisting the urge to tear the list apart because I'm sure that's what niche wants.

Yes its just a whack job/PR push when you see the list has the following "towns", Princeton Meadows (where is it?), "Monmouth Junction" (why only this and not include South Brunswick, Kendall Park, how are areas rated separately from the town in terms of school and god knows what other factor), "Plainsboro Center" (do they mean only the shopping area of Plainsboro.. Lol), this is by scanning only the first few ones.

I know. I'm sorry I posted it. I don't remember Niche being that out of touch with reality. Apologies.

List looks fine to me. They were pretty clear about what their criteria for the rankings are. Maybe your criteria is different.

I dunno. It's totally subjective of course, but as an example, I think it's a stretch to call Princeton Meadows a town. I found it by accident while driving around recently and felt like I was in a scene from GB Shaw's Major Barbara....

These sites are all a bunch of nonsense. Glen Rock gets a “C+” for Cost of Living, and Mount Arlington, which has housing prices about half those of Glen Rock, gets a “C-“?

There is no way these rankings are based on empirical data.
