I had to run a few errands this morning and visited 3 stores. My first stop was CVS where I only needed to use the ATM. There was still a very old sign on the door telling folks to mask up. I walked in without a mask and although I was there very briefly, no one said anything to me. I could not tell if they still require it or not.

Next stop was Family Dollar. (Big sign on the door says you must wear a mask). I did because the sign did not look old. I asked the friendly cashier whom I know about the mask policy and he said vaccinated customers do NOT have to wear mask anymore, but employees still do for a little while longer. I asked about the sign on the door still and all he told me was thats for the employees.

Dollar Tree - Same policy as Fam Dollar, except they had a sign on the door that clearly said vaccinated people do not have to wear a mask.

My question is did anyone run into any stores yet that still strictly require masks? I am especially curious about Shoprite.

Why does it bother you that a few stores want to protect their employees.

I was at McCaffery's (groceries) today and still had to wear a mask, but today they've finally opened up the common room on the first floor of my apartment building which I don't use but a lot of folks do, so it's nice for them. Also, it may mean our tiny exercise room is finally open, which I am planning to use .

Dumb question on your part, but I care because as a vaccinated person I rather not have to wear a mask inside stores anymore. It is good to know which stores are dropping the mask mandate to avoid confusion and being yelled at. This should be common sense to any intelligent person.

I NEVER said anything bothered me in my post. Work on your reading comprehension skills. (rolleyes) Furthermore, if you were intelligent you would know that if a worker is vaccinated they really have nothing to worry about. Also, workers are "protected" either way because they have every right to wear a mask whether they are required to or not.

Agree. I'm fully vaccinated, too, and this is going to be the challenge....

I highly doubt any place would kick you out if you don’t wear one. Asking if you would wear one and demanding are very different.

Thanks Hannah. Probably the only substantial reply so far
