I grew up on route 22 driving. I didn't think 22 was bad. Route 42 and the Black Horse Pike have that beat, especially a few areas where it's 10lbs of $hit into a 1lb bag with people merging onto 42 from other highways. It's a 2 lane exit where people have to know to get in the right lane if they want to get on 42 but some wait until the last minute. Then you have the people that haven't learned how to merge onto 42.

There really are people behind the wheel, but these tiny oldsters frequently can't be seen from outside their car, and most of them have difficulty seeing over the steering wheel. You can usually spot these problematic vehicles from afar because they are being driven 10-15 mph under the speed limit.
That's 2 of my biggest peeves, older people who can't see over the wheel and people who go under the speed limit. The 3rd is the slower cars not driving in the right lane.

I just never go there anymore..
They are doing construction around Bloy St as well.
Hmm. Brick NJ by the Shop Rite is a doozie too. You can drive the road through the parking lot.. !!! To wait for those cars coming in from what I like to call the "double left," where 7-11 would be at off your 10 0'clock if headed East..
The road ragers (that cut off the whole line of traffic because. They can do that, I suppose) are coming back too..
You just don't drive in the left lane on that section of 22 because of all the jug handles in the middle. I learned my defensive driving going through there lol
I want to bring my grandson up to Jimmy Buffs in Kenilworth, then jump on 22 West to go to my dad's old gas station in Watchung.
Again, this morning, we all had to drive around someone "cutting in" the lane that goes to 88 East "Towards the Marina in Brick" because they were hanging out over the lane. It's about 8a.m. in the morning. Really?
That's a NY move, for sure, but.. Seeing it pretty frequently there..
Not sure if I mentioned already, but New Hampshire Ave and Rt 70 is another example of fine New Jersey Civil Engineering. (The part before it by the Gulf gas station and wood, merging to New Hampshire Ave just before a cloverleaf.)
Genius.
