Are you allowed to park overnight in the park and ride at cheesequake rest stop on garden state? I wasn't sure if it was only allowed during certain hours, and I cannot find anything online.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT - just saw it's closed from 2am-4am. Does anyone know anywhere in the vicinity that allowed overnight park and ride?

Did you check the south Amboy and Sayreville train stations? Maybe there?

Legal or not, I see cars at Cheesequake overnight. I live right there and drive through it often to get to the parkway. The other trick is to park in the reststop parking as opposed to the park and ride portion.

Thank you! I thought about doing that, but then I've become paranoid from having lived in NY too many years. I always think they watch your every move, waiting to tow you.

I'll definitely check out the train stations. Hubby will kill me if his car gets towed
