Deport them back to the DR and this problem is solved as far as any more stealing from this trio.
Not going to happen in many cases. Huge part of "bail reform" was also for DAs to stop charging certain usual suspects with crimes that could cause all sorts of issues, including deportation. Everything from petty larceny to prostitution (and a lot in between) are largely either not prosecuted, or done so at an offense level so eejits aren't convicted of crimes. The latter of course shows up on a rap sheet and has consequences and repercussions.
There are exceptions to every rule. It's no secret that (in general) Puerto Ricans and Dominican's don't much care for one another ... although, as we know with most peoples, they'll still go for one another's women.

Outdoor cameras are so cheap nowadays. They don’t require expert installation or an expensive security plan. Just stupid to rob packages because a person is so likely to be recorded. Also, Amazon will ship anything. I feel half of the items I order are less than $10.

No, we do not jail robbers who steal packages before they are convicted. Ones that do not have any guns or weapons or threaten to hurt others.

Our NJ jails would be bursting at the seams if that was the policy. Maybe you think we should just build more jails and hold everyone who has ever stolen packages from front porches.
