Man, City Data Forum really is the "Back in my day..." and "this country is going to hell in a hand basket" capital of the internet. Chicken little's all over the place here.

If the schools don’t teach sexual education before fifth grade then that automatically means the parents can never teach them either, right? that is why we need to have the schools introduce sex education and gender studies as early as pre-k. the schools need to work closely with a preschoolers physician to determine if hormone therapy will be needed or surgically fixing them. if you dont agree then you should move to arkansas or something.

Sadly some out there will agree with your sarcasm...

Whether they teach it at school or not, they’re gonna learn about it from the other kids by 4th or 5th grade, at the latest.

I don't agree with teaching gender identity but you are absolutely correct regarding the CD mindset. The political forum is good for a laugh almost every day. Its nuts over there, a true cesspool. I'm honestly surprised they haven't shut that forum down.

Once again, what is the big effing deal. Kids get taught sex ed in middle school, why can't this just be added to that curriculum? If you don't think kids today already know about and talk about this stuff on their own, you are horribly naive. As my (grown up) son reminded me when we were having this discussion the other day, I had to sign a permission slip before he attended sex ed classes, which presumably would also be true for the gender ID/orientation info.

He was bullied/accused of being gay as a 5 year old for wearing nail polish on his toes and that was 23 years ago. Nuf said.

Something I’ve noticed here and elsewhere (on The Facebook), and I’m speaking as a man who’s straight as an arrow…

It’s almost always heterosexual men flipping out over LGBTQA… topics. Women, whether heterosexual or otherwise, are much more accepting regarding these people/issues.

What are the men so afraid of?
