I’ve definitely thrown out a lot more of them than I’ve reused
Two of mine from the supermarket delivery broke right at the handles. I had to throw them away. But my insluated zipper jumbo Amazon bags are still going strong. I purchased them before Covid and still they don't tear, rip or break off the handles.

I have been doing that for years when saw pictures of animals with their head and neck stuck inside the rings. I cut every single ring even the tiny ones. People bring a case of beer or soda with them to picnics and the beach and they don't put them in the garbage cans or the bears knock over the cans and those beverage plastic rings fly all over.

The same thing happens with the plastic bags that we banned. The national Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration estimates 100,000 sea birds and animals a year.

Far worse is happening from what we can't see. The plastic in the ocean degrades into powder form over years, and gets ingested by marine life. Some die from this unnatural food, and some get caught and the plastic find its way into our food.

Was really great popping into CVS for a few things and no bags of any sort there (thought they were allowed paper, but I guess because they have food, not). I was considering taking off my shirt and using it to carry my stuff, but I've already gotten thrown out of Whole Foods for accidentally launching some bagels at another customer when trying to juggle my order, so I refrained.
