I don't know the answers to all of your questions but I just moved back to NJ after 12 yrs. in California. I did not have to re-take a test but I did have to bring my marriage licence because I was in the NJ system under my maiden name.

Good luck and welcome back. Where did you move to?

I would think a lot would depend on where you graduated from high school. If you change your drivers license to NJ, and register with a NJ high school transcript, I doubt if anyone would question your residency. Good luck.

Don't quote me on this but i think all the state DMV are now synched together. Be careful with "fixing" your paperwork. Call up the school direct and do not tell them your name just your situation and see what they say.

i order to be eligible for in state tuition, you have to be living in the state for 12 consecutive months prior. so you can either move back immediately and wait 12 months, or hope that you can just start now by telling them your last nj address and they may accept that.

if you have only been in GA for 2 months, you are fine.
