I dont think loans will be forgiven, Biden doesnt have the authority to do it. Its just a complete election gimmick.

Program Overview: Most federal student loan borrowers can receive up to $10,000, or up to $20,000 if the student received a Pell Grant, which is a type of aid available to low-income undergraduate students. However, income limitations apply. Only borrowers who made less than $125,000 per year, or married couples earning less than $250,000, in either 2020 or 2021 should be eligible.

It appears that most federal loans qualify for relief. This includes Direct Stafford Loans, and all Direct subsidized and unsubsidized federal student loans. However, there is word that the roughly five million borrowers who have a commercially held Federal Family Education Loan may be excluded, as well as all private loans. It’s best to go to Studentaid.gov to find out if your loans qualify.

The Education Department said it should have an application available before year end for borrowers to input their income data and request the loan forgiveness.

I believe this would not cover a HESAA loan, since those are not direct Federal loans but rather State loans.

This post aged well. It was clockwork, the day after the election, the Federal Courts said "No, the President of the United States doesn't have the authority for this." and the media was silent on the matter. The media even had to point out that it was Trump judge fault for the ruling, when he was just ruling as the Constitution is setup to be and any (well hopefully) every other judge would follow in a black and white case like this.

If you actually believed you were getting forgiveness, you were completely fooled and hoodwinked by the President and the Democrats.

It doesn't matter as OPs loan didn't qualify anyway.

The Dems hoodwink their constituents all the time. Its sad to watch, but they just keep voting them in because El Hombre Naranja is mean.
