Does all of this information hold true if we are looking for a home in the 500k - 600k price range? We are moving with our two small children and are interested in an area that is very family oriented with great public schools. VERY OVERWHELMED!!!

I would say this information does not hold true. The original post is a year and a half old and prices have come down. In your price range you could buy in towns like Rumson-Fair Haven or Holmdel. Both family oriented and from what I've read they are the best school districts in Monmouth County.

Second Stone28's advise. You don't have to worry a thing and with that price range, you should have no problem looking for a good neighborhood.

Laurel green is off laurel avenue & route thirty five both of which are BUSY roads.
