Nope....classic vinyl ch 14, the vault ch 16 classic rewind ch 15 are my 3 faves..I'll go to ch 8 for the 80's or ch 6 for the 60's if I'm bored..never do ch 7 as i think 70's music as a whole sux
those are the ones I listen to also - except I like 70's music! hair nation would drive to drink (which I guess isn't a bad thing ). I lived through it once (with the hair to prove it), no need to do it again! lol

I remember three years ago I flew into Norfolk VA on business from New Mexico, it was in January, so the sun went down very early, I was driving my rental car to the hotel, and lo and behold, I encountered sports radio 660 WFAN in New York. From Norfolk! I know the expansion of the ionosphere during the evening hours has something to do with AM reception, but not necessarily FM.

Yes, it happens a lot at night with AM stations but not FM. That was why I was so surprised.
A lot of AM stations go off the air at night which is why very strong signals from say NY or Chicago get right in.

At night up here in NH we can get WFAN too. We have also pulled in 770 among a few other NY radio stations.
