We're taking my partner's dad who's here visiting from Scotland to this place on Friday...He loves wildlife and it looks really, really cool! Anyone ever been here?

yes but many years ago...i found it cool to be that close to eagles and hawks, you really appreciate them when you're so close and see the enormous wing span they have.
please report back to us and tell if you enjoyed it.

I love this place! I found it quite by accident... we found an injured bird and didn't know what to do...the local animal agencies wanted to destroy it and we knew that was not really necessary. So we made a bunch of calls and found this place. They took the bird in and nursed it back to health. It's a great organization and does make for a nice day trip.

wow, great find, wileynj, I'll put a link to it on my links section. I have friends that have a townhouse in Millington, great thing for us to do with the kids.. I just found out about Alstede farms the other day from a mom at the playground, another good low-cost thing to do. I'll put the link here too, maybe this could be a mega thread with consolidated recommendations?

THANKS!

Ummm..not a huge fan of caged animals! Santuary is one thing but over at Space Farms..made me want to cry last time I was there. Huge Grizzly in a 8-feet diameter cage. That's horrible! Those animals belong back in the wild
