Can anyone tell me about this town? How are the schools? Is it expensive to live there? How much would a 3 bedroom Cape go for? What type of people live there? Thanks much.

We lived in Saddle Brook and loved it. We lived in a Cape, if you go on realtor.com you can look at prices, the range in price. Our taxes were about $5200 per year.

We had great neighbors, close to everything, plus the highways. My son went to Helen I Smith elementary and we liked it very much, they have a before and after school program which was great.

There really isn't anything I didn't like about the town or school. If we ever move back to NJ I would still go live there.

New Jersey MLS, Search for Homes in Northern New Jersey to search for homes (as well as realtor.com which was mentioned above)

The taxes are below average for Bergen county in Saddle Brook, the area is pretty good it's compareable to Elmwood Park, and better than Garfield/Lodi.
