Two of my coworkers from the Atlanta office are at our Parsippany office today, and they've been emailing me since they got in last night about the weather. They can't believe how much stickier it feels up there than what they left down here yesterday.......lol.
Your time is acoming Bob..and it lasts longer then up here
so enjoy your cool wave now
Either society's getting wimpier or there really is global warming because in previous generations when did you ever hear of schools closing because of heat??
You sure it's not because it's near the end of the school year?...

it's both, end of summer & the heat, but I'm sure many schools did not have their A/C ready for this heat wave so early.

Nah....it's already hot down here, but I'm tellin' ya- it doesn't feel as sticky for some reason. I can't figure it out, since the humidity level according to weather.com is the same. Maybe it's just because I'm not as miserable down here, so I don't let the weather bother me as much......lol

Actually...most of the schools in NJ don't have A/C systems installed..hence the reason we don't have school in the summer. Pretty soon it will be reversed...school in the summer with winters off due to the cost of heating lately... best change your summer vacation plans in for winter vacation plans : ).
