It's funny. On Sunday, my power went out for about 2 hours during that small thunderstorm we had. However, nothing happened to the power last night and it was really bad outside.

Sometimes I get upset. We live in one of the largest metro areas in the world! We should have a power-supplying infrastructure that can withstand anything short of a hurricane!

Hearing things like this makes me think... now that I have a house, is a generator worth it?

Only thing I would want on it would be the fridge... so I don't know if its worth it or not.
