HELP!job in Murray hill..where to live with kids? (Metuchen: home, purchase) - New Jersey (NJ) - City-Data Forum

We are a family of 4 with a possible job in the murray hill area. We would be looking to purchase a newish type of home for less than 700,000 in a GREAT school district? Is this even possible. A commute of less than 45 minutes would be possible. Can anybody give me some suggestions?

I highly suggest Metuchen but I think it would be further than 45 minutes b/c it would depend on a subway from Penn Station. You can check tho on New Jersey Transit - Home
