I just said yesterday while traveling to NJ that.........The trees are so gorgeous, could we bottle the summer and keep them all year.
How can anyone not like a tree? Unless it is depositing its flowers and cones into your pool............Other then that............I've never heard of not liking trees.
I'm in LOVE with Summer and all the NJ and PA trees!! So gosh, wonderfully, beautiful.
( so the poster is joking right?)
I'm sick and tired of all those trees in New Jersey. It's like everywhere! I went to Los Angeles, they do not have so many trees, if they do, they are mostly Palm trees that does not cover the streets, houses etc.
They are so ugly and annoying. I bet 90% of the state is forest.
Like, it's OK to have trees, but not that much.. u should understand me.
You live in North Jersey & are complaining about trees?
Go down to Burlington County, all you see are scrub pines. When I 1st moved there, I cursed the pines.
Then spring came, route 70 is so pretty in the spring, it's lined with wild dogwoods & laurels. Then you get the treat of wild roses (multiflora) and wild wisteria.
These days even the highways are colorful. They've planted things like flowering pear & forsythia.
Having mature trees is nice. Hot days I can park my car under them (if I'm lucky enough where I shop) or, keeping the house cooler during those hot days. At our old house we had huge sugar maples in front, when we took them out we had no shade during the summer.
You can have the palms. Give me trees that change color or flower.
Thats whats great about South Jersey...........with all the Pines and Evergreens.....Winter seems so less grey, and barren..........
It makes me smile when I am there, because there is still some nice green color all winter long............
