We're located in Bloomfield, in Essex County. We're planning on taking up the carpeting and refinishing our lovely hardwood floors. We have a dining room, living room, stairs and updstairs hallway. As well, we need to install a hardwood floor on our downstairs family room. Hoping someone can shed some light:

Does anyone have any recommendations for a contractor in the Bloomfield area?

Has anyone used a contractor that uses the "dustless" system? Evidently they run a huge vacuum from the house right into a van to remove the majority of the dust. Does this actually work well?

If anyone has had similar work done, what type of pricing should we expect? We have no idea and would like to avoid "sticker shock" if you know what I mean.

Thank you in advance for any insight.
