My gf grew up and lived her entire life in Westfield... part of the convincing of the move (as HB is *not* Westfield) was that HB is a hell of alot safer, she could get sushi at Circa, mexican at Casa Maya, and we were in driving range to both Taco Bell and IHOP. Yes, I'm serious, she has a taco bell addiction... and I love pancakes

So that makes a great place for me to go for breakfast/lunch/whenever i can stuff my face with pancakes

No way Jose.

I always say the biggest mistake Secaucus ever made was not allowing Giants Stadium to be built there (they were asked first). Now they get all the traffic with none of the benefits .
I was not aware of that. I swear, my single greatest source of education these days is reading various forums in C-D com.

yup..i remember my parents talking about it back then. they don't even reap any county benefits since Secaucus is in Hudson Cnty and E. Rutherford's in Bergen.

I'll try to find something on it, but not holding out much hope.

I'm not a huge fan of Unions but it's situations like Walmart and they way that they take advantage that forces Unions to come into play. If they treated their employees fairly, they wouldn't need to worry about a Union coming in and taking over. Cure the problem Walmart and no one will let the union take over.

Glad to see some of you didn't bother reading the economics study I linked earlier in the thread. lol.

I can't say I blame Wal-Mart for organizing when there is so much emotion-driven economics ignorance out there AND organized labor has every expectation that the democrats will kiss off the larger economy in exchange for the union money and campaign support they receive.
