No they don't,they don't target them on purpose.Alot of you questions can be answerd if you watch the Walmart movie. The people who work at Walmart aslo have families to feed and for a company that steals(makes) as mush money as they do ,they could take better care of the employees. If your going broke feeding your family maybe you should get a part time job at Walmart.
I knew guys making over 50K yr at home depot..this was 10 yrs ago!. Yes, they were designed to crush the little guy..Ace, Rickles, etc. and they succeeded but they also created good paying jobs. They have added value to the US economy - to the local communities. Walmart comes in and takes advantage of the locals...offering s**t pay..no benefits..or s**t benefits, etc. They sell nothing but foreign made crap! Home Depot refers and uses local contractors.. huge difference between the two companies!

Retail jobs like Wal-Mart are not intended to be family-sustaining jobs. They're mainly part-time jobs for high school and college students and second incomes for families. Instead of whining that they can't support a family on a Wal-Mart salary, why don't those people better themselves and get an education to get themselves a better job, instead of whining about working at Wal-Mart and that they aren't being handed a high-wage job on a silver platter?

Anyone making 50K a year at Home Depot has to be a manager, not a regular worker....since I have known people who work at Home Depot and their pay starts in the $9/hour range. I also know people who work at Sam's Club and Wal-Mart who make 100K a year, but they are store managers.
Anyways, why should unskilled jobs stocking shelves, pushing carts, and running a register pay high wages? If people want a better job, they need to either get an education or work hard to move their way up the ladder. People are whiners in this day and age of people thinking they are entitled to everything......they need to realize that good paying jobs are not just handed out like candy. Get off your arses and better yourself!
