Hmmm... see, I really don't mind it. We have one big unit in our Dining room.... that cools our first floor (it's small...but still.) WE have a tiny one in the family room, which is like a 3 season room. One in the 2 brs and that cools upstairs. I don't mind at all.
The only thing that stinks for me is that they are noisy. But it's funny, by the end of summer when they are NOT on I'm like "Something is missing?" LOL
Speaking of air, and you know how I hate heat.... is there NOTHING worse than when you are at a nice restaurant or bar or something and you have to go to the LOO and the LOO is not air conditioned! Yes, I had it happen to me recently .... I thought they were going to find my body in there.
Yuck! That must have been one smelley loo as well! I can see the men's room but us ladies don't like our NJ up dos drooping because there's no air in the loo
