.....my dad threw this term out because he was wondering about it........my husband, myself and my dad have lived together for the past 17 years in same home......my dad wants us to have the house when he passes........he wants to be able to make it hassle free for us to aquire the properpty with out any problems........have other siblings but he wants us to get the property.....thanks!
through a tontine?? Why not just transfer the property now or put you guys on the deed if it's paid for?
I'm no expert but don't think tontines in the true essence of the word are legal in the US....talk to an estate planning lawyer, that may be your best bet

depends if you want or not the descendants of each person on deed to inherit or whether when 1 deeded person dies, thier share is consumed by the others bec. of the joint tenancy.
