Yes a lot of people live there now. We lived in the Money Island section near Island Heights-my gram still lives there. Don't know how long your sis has been there but the changes that I have seen are amazing-so unlike the 1970's and early 1980's. Soooo much growth. I remember when there was no mall and before they built the "big" bridge over to Seaside. I could go on and on I think that I have seen changes-my dad and my grandma tell me their stories like when Rt 37 was one lane.
Fisher Blvd- A lot of the stores like the Shoprite near Bay Ave were still woods when I was in hs and we used to run through there for cross country practice.
1970..all my younger siblings graduated Toms River North..back when there was only North & South..I think the last one is my youngest sister..she graduated around 1980

My comfort day would be sleeping till noon. Remember that wonderful, blissfully unaware sleep you had when you were a teenager. When your Mom had to come in and yell over and over for you to get up because lunch was being served. What I wouldn't give for a night (and morning) of sleep like that.
Yeah, nothing like waking up when your body is saying "Hey, time to get up" not because the alarm or the kids or the dog is getting you up.
I inherited my mothers curse! I can't sleep much past 7:30..even on the weekends. Once I'm up, I'm up. I remember her walking around the house at 4:00am..cleaning while saying "a woman's work is never done"..lol
