How is the commute to NYC from Marlboro, NJ? Thx

It depends on where you live in Marlboro and where you're headed. We live in Morganville, and my husband's office is at 51st and Park. It takes him an hour and a half most days. (An express train from Aberdeen/Matawan is a must.)

Drive to Metropark and then take the trian into the city, it is the easiest way I have found.

How long normally takes you from Marlboro to Metropark, and then how long is the train ride from Metropark to Penn? What is the parking like in Metropark? Is it easy to park? how much do they charge for parking? What is the monthly train fare from Metropark to Penn?

I know some of the questions I can research myself, but if you don't mind, I would really appreciate!

Marlboro to Metropark in the rush hrs might be an issue..around 45 mins.
You can get a parking in Metropark in 3 to 6 months..It's around $60/month.
Metropark to Newark Penn is 20 mins (by express train), and to NY Penn will be another 20 mins.
Monthly pass to Newark Penn is currently $134.00.
