Does anyone have any experience with the private shuttle van companies that take you from the Port Authority in NYC to the West York/Edgewater area? Any positive/negative feedback at all would be very helpful. I'm trying to see if that's another viable way to travel between NYC and my apartment.

I think they are some small (mom/pop type) shuttle vans that run, but i have never personally taken one before.
