The PATH doesn't run to New Brunswick- it runs to Jersey City, Hoboken and Newark. You need to take the PATH to Newark for $1.50, then buy a ticket for NJ Transit on the Northeast Corridor line, which will take you right to downtown New Brunswick. That ticket is probably around $5-6, as a ticket to Metropark costs me $4.50, and that's 3 or 4 stops before New Brunswick.
I was planning to head to NJ b/c there's a blood center paying donors for their plasma. You'll get like 30 bucks, but if im gonna spend 15 bucks getting there, probably not worth it.
