we are looking for houses in Piscataway. Some of the previous thread mentioned that some sections of Piscataway are not so nice and crime rate is high.

Could someone pls share any information on Gramercy Section and Star Point town house community in Piscataway.

Are these areas safe and what is the ethinicity in these areas ? We are Asian - Indians.

I have heard that Arbor section is not so good as it is closer to Plainfield.

Any info on Gramercy Section and Star Point will be appreciated

Default Starpoint Townhouse is nice community

As parent of Rutgers University, I am looking to buy a condo or townhouse for my kid and actively going to open houses in the area due to the fact, they accept 1,000 more students this year, and placed many students in hotel, e.g. 340 at Crown Plaza at Somerset...etc.

Last weekend, I went to see 3 open houses at Starpoint Piscataway and found the community is very nice, so were the 3 townhouses I saw. I went there is because it is very close to Rutgers University Livingston Campus where most of freshman course starts.

I also talked to neighbors and found out one Philippine family whose daughter graduated at top 10 student from Piscataway High School and now going to Rutgers Univ as Pre Med major, commute from home.

A Chinese family, both husband and wife driving nice luxury Infinity cars wife graduated from Rutgers Pharmacy College and working at Johnson and Johnson, and husband graduated from Piscataway High with BA from Montclair Univ, and Chemistry MS from Seton Hall and getting MBA as well...

These three open houses, the owners all have growing kids and buying bigger homes to move up and maintain the townhouse very nicely, Moderator cut: hi ehs1 makes the house like you saw in the movie...

When I google Moderator cut: hi ehs1 , I also got lots of extra information about the area and community.

I was also going to see Moderator cut: hi ehs1

I am considering both University Heights at Piscataway also since it is walking to Rutgers University Livingston Campus and I heard there is no maintenance fee there. The difference is of course Starpoint much newer and luxury.
