Can't say that I don't agree with you to some extent, but at the same time...what goes on in Africa, IMHO, isn't comparable to what goes on in the worst city in the US or in any EU country. Civilization and a certain amount of "real" government FOR the people does speak volumes...

I don't know...if people would research their questions (on this board) before they posted them this entire NJ board would be defunct.

National/worldly concerns affect NJ and sometimes, at least in my humble opinion, the political board get a little nuts. I could care less what someone in Idaho thinks about this POTUS election coming up. I'd rather hear what my fellow NJ residents, who I am comfortable with, have to say.

Call it (the political discusions) situational. They will simmer down after 2008 elections. But at the same time...the future POTUS will affect NJ as well as national issues affect NJ and the people who live in this state sensibilities. Just kinda happens.

I'd prefer to hear what the people who live in the same state that I do think and feel about politics. Rants or not. Maybe a sub-board for political discussions by state should be created?

You brought up a good point.
