Me and my friends are working on idea of establishing and promoting organic food delivery services for homes and offices in New York & New Jersey. It seemed to make sense, since for years we were only working with supermarkets and health food stores as a distributors. Now, we want to be open to the public, so it would make natural products more affordable and accessible due to absence of a "middle man". But that is just our own conclusion. What do you people think? We know that this forum is visited by hundreds of passionate lovers of organic food. Is it something folks would benefit from or there is enough store around? Please check the website www.OrganicDirect.com and shoot straight about what you think. We would value your feedback and opinion very much.

trader joe's and whole foods would be my choices. there's a trader joe's on rt. 17 north in paramus and on river rd in edgewater. whole foods is on river rd in edgewater and on godwin ave in ridgewood, with new locations opening next year in paramus at the bergen towne center on rt. 4 east (next spring/summer) and in a strip mall in closter right next to k-mart (probably next fall/winter). i also heard a rumor that wegmans has looked into opening its first northern nj branch in paramus, but i have no idea if there's any truth to that.

you might try looking on the NJ FRESH website for a farmer's market by you. it is a little more work for you but your salad won't be coming from 3200 miles away in a refrigerated truck.

Jersey Fresh - Urban Farmers' Markets

i know that the farmer's market in ridgewood just had its last day last week but there are also small farms around, but i am not sure about proximity to lodi.

I could not find where on your website to gove feedback - but I liked the idea and could see myself using it in the future when I have kids...they deliver to my area...
