the issue is not the ability to see the dr. every month. that is completely ok. it is the fact that dr. knows my son has no insurance and insists on charging him $120.00 office visit. that to me seems outrageous. My son has no problem going to an office visit every month, but shouldn't that brief visit be more like 50-75? he does work. part-time and they don't offer insurance to pt. he is in school fulltime. He has the coverage thru school but they won't cover meds. only emergency. He is going to try to talk to dr. once more, and I will probably go as well. We will see how it goes. thanks again for all the comments.

Good luck & I agree, you'd think they would reduce the price.

btw, about a year or so ago I was in a situation where since my insurance wasn't covering it and I maxed out in August, then had to pay 100% after that that I looked online for script plans and did find a few, so you might also look into something like that.

Do go to the NJ gov page to see if he qualifies for any state related programs.
