I live in the Village of Kingston, my mailing address is "Princeton, NJ" so which community do I belong to? I went to the Princeton community pool yesterday and they said that I had to pay the "non-communtiy resident" price because my mailing address is in Princeton but I don't live in the community!?

You live in Kingston but are in the district of Princeton. So your community is Kingston.
I have the same issue my physical town and school district is Middle Smithfield but my mailing address says East Stroudsburg. The actual town is 15 minutes from where I live but it's a post office territorial thing. Needless to say I'm a Middle Smithfield resident and belong to that community (even if they don't have any perks)
There are soooooooo many communities that have a Princeton address. They are in Mercer, Somerset and Middlesex counties. Unless you live in Princeton Borough or Township, you can't take advantage of Princeton community facilities......
You are a member of the community your children go to school in and you pay taxes in. Kingston is South Brunswick, which has 5 different subdivisions.
and that being said, you're probably paying lower taxes and have access to schools that are in the same neighborhood, quality-wise, as Princeton.
