I know the building..it's really old and cool looking. I believe it had something to do with a church? Or religious organization. Alex may know...

Should have said something..I would have recommended some great places for you. There's a restaurant right on the lake... food is really decent!

An ex of my friend's that lives in that area said she thought monks still owned it (she warned people about trespassing, because while it looks abandoned, it's still carefully watched over [or so she says]).

EVERYTHING in NJ is carefully watched over. There is a cop every 100 feet in this state. LOL

So its an old monastery?
