Hello,

I will be moving to NJ and work in Manhattan, minutes from the George Washington Bridge. I am looking for a rental apartment walking distance from NJ Transit bus lines with routes to GWB bus terminal.

Thank you!!

Are there any 24-7 buses that run from New York over the GWB to New Jersey?

The #182 runs through Fort Lee, Leonia, Teaneck, Bogota and into Hackensack. There are some rentals along that route in each town within walking distance to the bus stops. It really depends on how much you want/are able to pay for rent - Fort Lee and Leonia are on the high(er) side, Bogota a little less so.
Also check out towns serviced by the #178 and #175 routes. All of these are pretty reliable.

The NJ transit GWB buses stop running around midnight, but there may be some private 'dollar' van service. Don't know that I'd trust them though.

Yes, they are the express buses that go to the GWB terminal. They are fine..safe. I've never had a problem. Most of them have cameras installed.
