It seems as if Scranton and Wilkes-Barre are getting a chain restaurant boom now. Anyone hear anything positive or negative about Quaker Steak & Lube or Sonic? I've also heard unconfirmed rumors that Cheesecake Factory and Dave & Buster's are looking into our area now (pretty, pretty please!!!)

Never been to any of those 5, LOL. Never even HEARD of Quaker Steak and Lube (actually, are those 2 separate places or just 1? LOL)....LUBE doesn't sound too appetizing for a restaurant though...

Sonic I've heard is pretty good.

It's a Pennsylvania thing-the restaurants are a subsidiary of Quaker State motor oil. I wanted to stop at one out near Penn State when I went to visit my brother but we didn't have time. They look like service stations-kind of a neat idea if you ask me.
